Configure custom Power Supplies in minutes with worldwide safety approvals.

Excelsys releases their Xgen Series “powerKit” and raises the standard for convenience, allowing system designers immediate development of custom AC/DC power supply solutions. Each kit contains everything needed for system design engineers to configure their custom power supply including one powerPac front end chassis and a selection of seven different plug-in “powerMod” dc output modules. The output modules can be plugged in, removed and exchanged in minutes and maintain all worldwide safety agency approvals.

There are six application specific powerKits offering 600/900/1200 Watts total power and designed for industrial, commercial, ITE, Medical or High Temperature Applications. Each powerKit comes in a rugged metal case with seven output modules offering totally isolated single and dual outputs ranging from 1.5 – 58 VDC and up to 50 Amps. Load regulation +/-0.2% max; a Designer’s Manual that defines voltage settings, type of current limiting, current sharing and output inhibit/enable control; two pairs of parallel links and series links; and power and signal mating connectors. No other power supply in the industry is capable of such end-user flexibility.

Beyond flexibility, these supplies offer leading edge power density at up to 15W/in3, low profiles for 1U (40MM) High Applications and High Efficiency Operation for improved reliability. Configured supplies measure either 40 x 127 x 260mm (6 slot) or 40 x 89 x 260mm (4 slot). All products are safety approved and in full production. Browse the Excelsys website for Specifications and Application Guides (http://www.excelsys.com). Pricing for the 1200 Watt Xgen powerKit is $1,100 in single piece quantities.
